Ya que el desenlace de esta segunda parte es bastante inesperado. Sin embargo, el estilo que tiene la autora tan característico de tomar decisiones aparentemente apresuradas de un momento a otro y sin ningún aviso, se ve presente a lo largo de toda esta novela. Son incontables las ocasiones en las que te preguntas ¿qué acaba de pasar?, o ¿y eso de dónde salió? Sin mencionar que muchos de los objetivos que se plantearon desde que Amy inició su misión comienzan a perder relevancia o sencillamente son sustituidos por otros. No lo sé pero matar a Dorothy ya no parece ser tan importante a estas alturas... Lo que hace preguntarme si así fue como siempre planeó la historia la autora o si todo lo fue escribiendo al momento. Aunque no negaré que la nueva perspectiva que parece haber tomado la historia se observa igualmente interesante. O al menos lo suficiente para querer seguir leyendo los libros hasta descubrir cómo rayos planea solucionar todas estas nuevas decisiones que ahora se han tomado.

Clara wakes to find herself hanging upside down, with Missy sitting across from her. The Mistress informs her that she adjusted their vortex manipulators to use the Dalek's energy wave to teleport them to safety. However, it's up to Missy and Clara to free the Doctor from the heart of the evil Dalek city. Meanwhile, Davros torments the Doctor reminding him how he abandoned that young boy all those years ago. "And here you are at the end, but this time I have you at my mercy" the villain continued. The Doctor forces Davros from his chair. Elsewhere, Missy and Clara attempt to reach the Doctor via the city's sewers which consists of decomposing Daleks. "Interestingly, the Dalek word for sewer is the same as their word for graveyard" Missy informs Clara.
