Because Pierce Brosnan was at the time locked into playing the title role on Remington Steele, he couldn't accept the role in time for The Living Daylights, leading to Timothy Dalton's decidedly more sober interpretation of the superspy in that film and the underrated Licence to Kill. But before Brosnan could fully take over the role, much happened with the franchise. In August 1990, a year after the release of Licence to Kill, longtime Bond producer Albert R. Broccoli split with writer Richard Maibaum, who worked on all but three of the previous films, leading to a revolving door of writers and prospective directors before Michael France ( Cliffhanger) delivered a draft in 1993 that they could move forward with. For better or worse — and Maibaum worked on several of the worst installments, along with the best ones — his expertise and experience with the character and conventions of the series was arguably peerless. Concurrently, longtime distributor MGM fell into a legal scuffle with Broccoli's company Danjaq, which owned the Bond film rights.

Those CRS-2 Dragon missions will use 'propulsive' landings, where the capsule lands on a landing pad using its SuperDraco thrusters rather than splashing down in the ocean. That will allow NASA faster access to the cargo returned by those spacecraft, and also build up experience for propulsive landings of crewed Dragon spacecraft.

Monica and Maria or Monica and Carol acting as foils to Rogue and Mystique could be really cool as we see that while Monica, Maria, and Carol do genuinely care for one another, the Rogue and Mystique dynamic is a lot more complicated and full of manipulation. For the last act, they need to go all out. The Peak is reaching Earth, Carol isn't at full power, and there are threats on all sides, both with Mystique, Rogue, the prisoners, and any threats following the ship. So Carol, alongside her allies, assemble into a mini-army and work together to take on all of these threats. By the end, with help from her allies, Carol gets all of her powers back, Mystique is stopped and Rogue either has a change of heart or Carol, sympathizing with her, decides to take pity on her. This decision could anger some of the Skrulls who were being influenced by Mystique and could further set up a potential movie with them as the sympathetic antagonists. So what do you guys think? Could this work?
